Lilla Kunskapsskolan Västerås is hiring a caretaker

Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and today has 29 primary schools and six high schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by founder Peje Emilsson and family.

For the school year 26/27, we will open the doors to a new school in Västerås. The school will start with grades F-4 and the ambition is to grow to a school that, when fully developed, has 408 students distributed across grades F-6.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and solve everyday tasks at the school so that teachers and students have a safe, well-functioning, and stimulating learning environment. We want you to be able to collaborate easily with colleagues, students, external contacts, and be solution-focused. We place great value on your commitment, your ability to collaborate, and your initiative. We want you to be a stable and trustworthy person who can create confidence among students and set boundaries when necessary.

Desirable qualifications

We would like you to have previous experience working as a caretaker and that you have professional knowledge in one or more craft areas.

Job description

The position is a fixed-term employment of 60% for about 12 months starting at the end of July. After the period, there is a chance for a permanent position.
